We all get burnt out but it does not have to be that way. Carrie says that writing a list of your expectations will help you realize what brings about burnout. We spoke about how moms have such ridiculously high expectations of ourselves. She talks about how women’s standards have changed through the years since the invention of certain technology. She suggests that moms should try to figure out how burnout shows up in our life. Are there symptoms that we can identify that warns us a “Burnout” is coming up? Carrie stresses out that it is important for us moms to acknowledge our feelings. She also talks about how exercise and being out in nature are both helpful in eliminating burnout. We also both agreed that a “Girl’s Night Out” is a must for women.
