Show Mom The Money Success Cast #22

This week, I have the amazing Jeff Herring, with me.

If you’re not familiar with Jeff yet, here’s more about him, but first one word of warning –

Important! When reading Jeff’s bio…

Don’t think Jeff is “just” an article-marketing guy and that you won’t learn anything new. You’d be mistaken and would miss out on something really special.

I scribbled notes like crazy during our call. Jeff is an excellent teacher and I’ll be listening to this interview again to grab nuggets that were flying by.

Jeff’s Bio:

Discover how to create a prospect-pulling article, repurpose it into multiple marketing messages and multiple information products in the least amount of time.

No matter what niche you’re in, to be wildly successful on the Internet you need five things:

  • content
  • traffic
  • list building
  • marketing messages
  • products

Article Marketing provides the answer to all five needs, faster, easier and with less overall human effort.

Jeff Herring AKA The Internet Article Guy is an internet marketer specializing in article marketing, teaching Internet marketers, authors, speakers and self employed professionals to write and market articles for more prospects, publicity and profits, and to create multiple streams of income with their articles.

Jeff’s students and clients discover how to write more articles in less time, get their information in front of more eyes in as many consumable forms as possible, create a massive web presence, build a highly qualified and highly responsive list, and create multiple information products to build their information empire with their articles.

When Jeff turned his article marketing expertise on the internet, he created a flood of traffic to his web sites that he could not stop if he wanted to, and he has assured me he doesn’t want to.

Show Mom The Money Success Cast #21

February 17, 2010 by Tishia · Leave a Comment

onlinesuccesscast-smThis week, I have the amazing Willie Crawford, with me.

Yes, that Willie Crawford. The very same Willie Crawford who is an icon in the internet marketing world. I’ve admired Willie from afar for many years and have recently had the opportunity to get to know him and his beautiful wife better at live internet marketing events like his 50th Birthday Bash. We’re actually neighbors and live only 30 minutes apart. (Lucky me!)

In the beginning of this interview, I was giggling like crazy because I was so nervous! But, then I got into my groove. I even got a scoop — Willie shared a tidbit that has never been shared in any interview – ever.  And, it’s something handy to know in case you ever get lost in the woods with him. ;)

Kelly McCausey interviews Edie McRae is a native Houstonian who called New Orleans home for 20 years.  Hurricane Katrina devastated her community, including her entire immediate/extended family and friends.  Undaunted, she and her family moved to Houston to start a new life from scratch.

EdieMcRae.com™ strives to connect small business owners to personal, financial and environmental resources for their businesses through effective use of popular social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, blogging and more! She affectionately refers to herself as a “social media paramedic” because she helps clients break through the feelings of overwhelm with hands-on application, effective techniques and strategies that bridge the gap between theory and implementation.

Edie is going to the Mom 2.0 Summit and Kelly asked her some questions about the event.

Tishia Lee interviews Mary Lutz of provbs.com. Mary and Tishia talk about how Mary got started working from home – the when and the why. They also dig into Mary’s biggest struggle she finds herself facing working from home as well as the one thing she loves the most about working from home. Mary takes a few minutes to share about a major decision she was faced with this past December that would have had a major impact on her business.

Resources Tishia & Mary mentioned:

This week Mary Lutz, the Efficient WAHM, brings us her time saving tip “Turn off those Social Media Distractions”. Listen to Mary as she describes how social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter can distract us from getting our work done which in turn causes us to lose money, instead of making it. Mary also tells us how we can effectively schedule in time for social networking so we don’t lose that important connection with our potential readers, subscribers and clients.

Natural Moms Podcast #135

February 4, 2010 by Tishia · Leave a Comment

My guest this week is Joyce Cooper-Kahn PhD, coauthor of “Late, Lost, and Unprepared: A Parents’ Guide to Helping Children with Executive Functioning

While it sounds complicated, “executive functioning” basically refers to kids with weaknesses in planning and organization. These kids face all kinds of challenges–at school, in sports, in the family, and among their peers.

Do these traits sound familiar?

  • Your child often forgets to turn in assignments at school.
  • S/he arrives at important places unprepared.
  • <

  • Underestimates the effort involved in projects, has trouble getting started.
  • Has trouble organizing space.

Dr. Cooper-Kahn is a clinical psychologist and learning specialist and offers tips for gently parenting a disorganized child.

Work at Home Moms Talk Radio #296

January 26, 2010 by Tishia · Leave a Comment

My guest this week is Michael Martine from Remarkablogger & Blog Traffic Fisher.

I run into two kinds of people in my coaching practice – well, I run into all kinds of people – but there are two kinds that stand out to me in two extremes.

The first kind wants to ‘be an expert’ but they don’t want to put themselves out there to begin to earn that expert status.  The second kind wants to ‘be an expert’ and they want to put themselves out there in a really big way – but they haven’t done anything yet that really makes them an expert.

Somewhere between these two is the person who wants to be seen as an expert and is willing to do the time in the trenches – DOING something that causes others to notice them.

I asked Michael to join me to talk about doing what it takes to go from a nobody to someone remarkable to others.

This isn’t just about building a business around you being an expert.  This is for anyone who wants to be paid for their services or products on the web.  Michael has some amazing wisdom to share in this interview.

Mary Lutz the Efficient WAHM brings us another Time Saver:

You’ve probably heard the saying “many hands make light work”, but Mary Lutz, the Efficient WAHM rephrases it to “many hands make light work AND more money”. This week, Mary talks to us about outsourcing and how you can actually make more money when you pay someone to do those time-sucking activities that must be done.
