Happy New Year 2010!
We fulfilled dozens of wishes in our 2009 #wahmwish campaign and as usual, I’m left feeling incredibly blessed by the generosity and care that flows through our awesome work at home moms community. Thank you for being a part of it!
What’s Coming in the New Year?
Well, last week I asked my mailing list to tell me what they felt they needed in the year ahead and I got a great response. You told me that you want to learn more about: writing good emails, Clickbank, Twitter, Facebook, Photoshop, CSS, Article Marketing and more. About a third of those that responded expressed a need to improve their verbal communication skills – several indicated that they are afraid to speak to a group – even in a virtual environment.
An overwhelming number expressed an interest in more interactive learning resources. There are some things they just don’t feel like they can learn from an ebook or an audio recording.
I’m excited about this input and I’ve already put some of it into action with the release of a brand new learning resource at Mom’s Talk Biz. It’s called Verbal Confidence and it’s all about developing verbal communication skills and growing comfortable with speaking to a group.
What’s new here at WAHM Talk Radio?
Well, I had to laugh when I was reading all of the replies – one long time listener wished for a return to an hour long version of Work at Home Moms Talk Radio… and she’s not alone. I hear this request from listeners all the time. I’ve decided that these crisp new days of 2010 are perfect to bring back the full one hour episodes once again
I won’t be doing it alone though – I’ve asked two of my friends to become a regular part of the show.
Starting next week you’ll be enjoying a new segment called ‘Time Savers with Mary Lutz, the Efficient WAHM‘’. Mary will be sharing tips and tricks for conserving minutes while doing every day tasks in our businesses.
And I’m pleased to announce that Tishia Lee will be a regular correspondent as well. She has been providing us with great interviews in the past few weeks and I’ve asked her to make it a regular gig. I’m so glad she said yes!
