Keeping young children entertained does not have to be costly. Simple projects done at home with the family will still be teaching opportunities and a chance to use up your stock of craft supplies!

This week my kindergarten daughter joined me as co-host and shared with us the meaning of President’s Day, what she’s learning about volcanoes, and how her class is celebrating the 100th day of school.

One friend drew an Easter bunny on cardboard and glued 100 jelly beans into his basket! Another friend make a monster out of that colored foam and glued 100 googly eyes on it!
