Parenting My Teen #34

June 30, 2008 by Christina

It’s almost July and that means that in just another 6-8 weeks thousands of college students will be heading back to college, some for the first time.

This week Aurelia interviews her oldest daughter Shayna about what it’s like to move away from home for the first time and how parents can help their students make the transition. Shayna also shares her thoughts about ways for students and parents to keep in touch and why having a close, open relationship makes this much easier to accomplish.

Really glad you have this show, good to hear what other people’s experiences are. My kid is growing up fast, it seems only yesterday, he was a baby.
