It is true - I put Mom’s Morning Show to rest yesterday.
It was an abrupt end to a short but often vibrant internet radio show and we will certainly miss it.
I thought a lot about my decision to let MMS go last night and I believe it will become one of the best decisions I’ve made this year.
While I enjoyed many aspects of hosting a live daily radio show, at the end of the day - I’m a podcaster who enjoys the freedom of pre-recorded programs released on demand.
I believe in many ways that being so chatty five hours a week had a negative impact on my main show which is Work at Home Moms Talk Radio. I often thought ‘Man, this content is great - it should be on WTR!‘. I also found myself venting about things verbally on MMS that I would have normally blogged about - so we should expect to see more activity on my blogs in coming days.
I want to thank our MMS Crew Members. Treece Smolinski, Chele Niesler, Carrie Lauth, Annette Yen, Marie Ynami, Aurelia Williams, Cara Mirabella and of course, my good friend Tishia Lee.
Special thanks also to frequent caller and participant Patrysha Korchinski and to our faithful crowd of daily listeners.
We may not be starting our days together over at Blog Talk Radio any longer - but I look forward to seeing you all on Twitter and elsewhere.
