Wow, I'm looking forward to seeing how my Crock Pot recipe comes out. I made a completely different recipe by the time I was done making substitutions LOL.

Started with the chicken broth, added a pound of great northern beans, about a pound or two of canadian bacon (I happened to have oodles of this on hand.) Spices, an onion all chopped into eensy weensy pieces (thank you Magic Bullet.) and a sliced, pounded clove of garlic I tied into an emptied teabag. (I hate biting down on a chunk of garlic - ick.) 

I'm going to have to listen to the show again to figure out when to add the milk...I missed it. 

Gosh, I seriously hope I don't burn this soup. (I also made a double batch.)</description>
