Visit your Chamber of Commerce to get a list of attractions, events, or activities. Some towns offer attraction discounts to residents to reward them for supporting the local businesses.

A staycation is also a great time to do those projects that you never seem to find the time for during the school year. Many retailers are having sales on home improvements, decorating, and landscaping items for those who want to keep busy.
