This week Chele shares her experiences trying to get a free credit report and ways you can avoid the frustration she encountered. Checking your credit report each year is very important, as is knowing what the information means, but don’t just look for the word “free”. Usually there is a membership to join or some kind of upsell and these employees are trained to keep your business, no matter how many times you tell them “no”.
Chele also tells about the fun she had testing out a flip video camera and some fun dolls that are sure to brighten your day and help your worries disappear. For links to these resources, please visit Moms Love Shopping.

Michelle’s guest this week discovered her unique selling point after the birth of her daughters. Tired of receiving pink and purple baby clothes as gifts, Marianne Mullen created Polka Dot Patch Baby Boutique. She saw a need for non-traditional baby clothing and filled it with her whimsical and funky baby clothes.

This week author David Goldbeck joins us to talk about getting kids to eat their vegetables. He has co-authored a book called The ABCs of Fruits and Vegetables and Beyond.
His thought is that if we can normalize produce and get kids interested in it at a young age in a non-threatening way (by reading stories, doing games and such), they’ll be less likely to turn up their noses at the dinner table.
