Mom’s Morning Show #66
December 6, 2007 by Tishia
It’s Thursday on Mom’s Morning Show today. Noticed it just says Thursday? That’s because Thursday seems to have taken on some multiple personalities and you just never know what you’ll get when you tune in Thursday mornings! Listener Barbara Ryan suggested we call it This-N-That Thursday!
The testosterone seems to be running high at least in Michigan as Kelly & Tishia both mentioned how their sons have been a bit on the mouthy side the past couple days, both of them losing some privileges.
Have you been at Mum Dinger lately? Kelly & Tishia talked about some published news and one of the hot topics was the story about the man that is suspected of slipping his girlfriend the controversial abortion pill – also known as the morning after pill. The woman suspected him of doing it before & Kelly points out then what the heck are you doing with the man if you suspect him of something like that? Great point Kelly! As if that wasn’t a crazy enough story how about throwing into the mixture the fact that the man is married!
The show took an interesting turn when Tishia and Kelly had a blast from the past and shared about some of their younger years memories. It turned into a conversation about rollerskating and the chat room was full of buzz from ladies sharing about big hair, scrunchies, tight jeans and pink sweatshirts!
It truly was a This-N-That Thursday. Be on the lookout for a post from Kelly about a fun new contest we have going on
You won’t want to miss it!

I agree with what you said as usual, Kelly you are so wise. I don’t get long periods of me time. I haven’t had even a night away from my kids since I became a mom.
But taking a couple of hours to go to Barnes and Noble to read or work or see a movie or what-have-you leave me feeling refreshed and a better mother.
And self righteous “Christian” mommy bloggers work my nerves REAL bad. They’re some of the most pious people I’ve ever encountered. ICK. I’m a Christian who tries her best never to be Pharisaical.
