It’s Work at Home Wednesday on Mom’s Morning Show and Kelly and Tishia are delving into the topic of affiliate marketing. Tishia had some questions about basic affiliate marketing – how do you promote affiliate items if you do not have a mailing list? Kelly’s answer was simple – start a mailing list!
So naturally Tishia now had some questions about starting a mailing list. Her biggest concern was not having content or things to say to her list. Kelly suggested only mailing to the list one a month so that it’s not so overwhelming.
Cara wanted to know if there was a pattern to recommending affiliate products to her list? She doesn’t really know when to “sell” to her list. Kelly said she uses the analogy of having change in her pocket (listen to the show archive for the full explanation) and that you have to balance value with making money.
Kelly suggested that the easiest affiliate marketing program to start out with is the Moms Talk Network Affiliate program.
