Mom’s Morning Show #58

It’s Manic Monday today on Mom’s Morning Show and Tishia and Kelly were joined by Chele Neisler, LaTara Ham-Ying and Aurelia Williams.

Special guest of the day was Dr. Terry de Forrest. Dr. de Forrest came on to share about his book Improve Your Child’s Behavior - Simple Strategies that Really Work. Tishia received a copy of the book to review for the interview and shared that she was taken aback to open the book and, in the introduction, read that it is probably her behavior that needs to be changed instead of her son’s! She admitted to thinking that there wasn’t anything wrong with her behavior when it came to discipline but once she read the book she realized that there was a lot of behavior that she did indeed need to change before working on her son’s behavior! Dr. Terry de Forrest shared some suggestions and advice on how to regain control of your child if you’ve slacked in parenting and been lenient in certain areas. It’s not easy being the disciplinary but it’s imperative that you be consistent and follow through or your child will continue to win the discipline battles.
