It’s Tackle it Tuesday on Mom’s Morning Show today. Sandra Jensen joined Kelly and Tishia on the show today. The topic of conversation was all about tackling Thanksgiving. Tishia shared last week that the Holidays are very stressful for her trying to travel from her mom’s house to her dad’s house and just not having any time for herself & Caleb or to just relax. Next year she will be starting a new tradition on Thanksgiving – her & Caleb aren’t going anywhere. They are going to stay at home and have their own Thanksgiving dinner.
Marie Ynami called in to share all about her Holiday Season Kickoff that she has going on right now. Make sure to visit her site and listen to the interviews, read the transcripts and see what the Holiday kickoff is all about.
Kelly asked Angie if she was worried about indulging a bit too much this year around the Holidays and Carrie Lauth piped up to share about a book she recently read called Mindless Eating. A couple tips Carrie shared from the book were to use a smaller plate, sit next to someone that eats slow versus a fast eater, limit flavors to two or three on your plate and the availability of food (example: candy sitting on your desk is easier to mindlessly eat rather than having to get up and walk across the room to access that candy).
What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving season? Sandra shared she is thankful for the move (her & her family recently moved from Michigan to Indiana), that their great friends are coming for a visit for Thanksgiving, family, and so much more. Kelly shared that she is thankful for those four beautiful, healthy, thriving babies that her niece gave birth to recently. Angie shared she is so thankful for her wonderful husband. Carrie shared that she is thankful for her healthy children. Tishia shared that she is thankful for the WAHM community and how they pulled together to help her in a time of dire financial need! And the list goes on and on for all the ladies.
Don’t forget about the November blogging contest! As of today – Kelly just sweetened (no pun intended) the pot…she has doubled the prize (so you will now win double the chocolate!). And if that isn’t good enough not only will the interviewer get cholocate, the interviewee will get some chocolate too! Come on ladies start interviewing those show hosts!
